Combination of a high quality inks and 100% cotton fabric produces a vibrant museum grade art print. After the image is set, printed canvas is tightly stretched and wrapped on a wooden base. Akseli Gallen-Kallela was a Finnish painter who is best known for his illustrations of the Kalevala, the Finnish national epic. His work is considered a very important aspect of Finnish national identity. He changed his name from Gallén to Gallen-Kallela in 1907.
