Claude Monet
Claude Monet(French, 1840 - 1926)

Claude Monet changed the way we see light. As one of the founders of Impressionism, he turned gardens, rivers, coastlines, and everyday views into paintings that feel fresh, fleeting, and full of atmosphere.

He often returned to the same subjects again and again, painting the same scenes under different weather or at different times of day. What mattered most was not only the place itself, but the atmosphere around it: mist, reflection, sunlight, shadow, and color in constant motion.

His paintings are still loved for their softness, freshness, and quiet sense of wonder. Monet reminds us to slow down and notice how light can transform even the most familiar scene.
